KAPOW!

Sooo it's a Friday, which means college life updates!~ I say that as if I have a life outside of college. Pah! I wish. Well week 4 has come and gone... Seriously? That flew past! It's going pretty good so far. I lost a bunch of my Sewing homework, I'm behind in my Design sketches, and I never remember to fully finish my Patterns homework. Haha. Right now the bane of my existence is the Muncell Student Colour Set. Ever so annoying gluing all those damn chips to pieces of card. Ah well.

I'm still not really making any friends, of course. But I recently discovered that there's actually two of my high school friends that go to the same campus, which is awesome! And another school friend actually lives just around the corner [completely different school, though].

Buuuut... Well I really have nothing to say.

It's inspiration day again! First semester of my course is all based around skirts, so in association with that my inspiration posts for the next few months will be all skirts.

Hmm... It's Tuesday... Which means random life stuff time...

Well, currently the biggest thing happening right now is my grandmother's quickly advancing cancer. I'm hoping to go visit her some time tomorrow. The only thing that could really stop that is if she doesn't make it that far... I guess today she's doing worse than ever; barely notices people around her. I really hope she's still hanging on tomorrow because if not I'll feel like total shit for getting stuck in Kingston for two days when I could have easily just gone to Belleville right away instead. I'm not really surprised that she's gotten so bad... We've known for a couple months now that she probably wouldn't make it throuhg the summer. I even packed funeral clothes just in case even though I only planned on being back in the area for a week... Everything is just sooooo... Fucked up right now. I wish this had never happened to her. Never in the 20 years of my life have I seen my grandfather cry but I know I will tomorrow and that scares me. He's always been this... Image of solidarity for me and on some level I've been afraid of him for whatever reason my entire life. Probably just because he's really tall and doesn't talk a whole lot and that just freaked me out as a child. So that being said, seeing him cry is going to be my breaking point. I can feel it coming already.

Mornings are the devil

So today my timetable was posted... First class on Monday is Introduction To Computers And Applications... At 8AM. Eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Which is in class til 855 and then online til 950. I think. These timetable thingies are confusing. Then nnnnnothing til 1235 which is incredibly lame because there's nothing in that area that I know of yet to kill almost 3 hours with. But anywho, at 1235 I have Pattern Making I til 225 [I'm assuming the end times based on when the next period starts]. Then Tuesday is Clothing Construction I from 855 til 1235, then Fashion Design I from 225 til 510. Wednesday is Introduction To The Fashion Industry from 225 til 130. Finally Thursday is Pattern Making I again from 225 til 510. Whyyyyy is there so much on Pattern Making? >_< Geh. I hate petterns. Though I'm quite thrilled that I have no school on Fridays. Of course this is just the preliminary timetable and subject to change, but I hope the Friday thing doesn't change. But it might since I don't have an English class yet... Unless that's in second semester...

But yeah, super hoping Friday doesn't change. I'm going to see Bodom on September 25th in Kitchener, so I'd end up missing any class that day anyway for the train ride there.

Mmmmmmmmmm can't wait to start school. Except I'm gonna have to leave here at 7, which means getting up at 6... Yick.
